POLL: How Do You Discover Books?

I'll admit it: All this talk of the swan song of the newspaper book section and its irrelevance to popular fiction has me wondering:

What's the most likely way a book gets on your to-read list?

I read about it in a newspaper (print or online).
I read about it in a magazine (print or online).
I read about it on a blog.
I saw something about it on TV.
Someone I know recommended it.
It caught my eye in the bookstore.
I traded with a friend in publishing for a copy.

Perhaps you could pass the word on to your friends who aren't in the publishing industry, just to un-skew the results back towards ordinary readers...
